NLP And Business
Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020
NLP is a modelling technology. It allows you to identify sensory sequences - to break down the steps which facilitate high-performance.
It is probably one of the most misunderstood – or misused – research tools available to you for improving business performance through soft skills.
The applications range from strategy and sales to management, operations and customer experience.
You can improve business performance and profitability.
So, how does it work?
John Grinder (NLP co-founder) uses specific research criteria to identify NLP Modelling - unconscious assimilation, for example. There are many other descriptions but we support his approach.
For the sake of simplicity, natural design, and differentiation, we call our approach Duplication: ‘The practice of making an exact copy of something’. (Source: Cambridge Dictionary.)
It has five immediate benefits. It...
1. validates and affirms experience
2. encourages deep structure articulation
3. allows the subtle fabric of trust to build
4. reveals sensory know-how – the brains strategy
5. and helps the other to flower.
Done correctly, Duplication – carefully copying verbal and nonverbal content, structure, tone, and intent – has observably positive and seemingly magical consequences.
You can start by repeating someone’s words. But watch out. If you dip even slightly into manipulation, you lose them.
If you want to explore Duplication, you can book on this page.
